The SPP opening meeting for the second funding phase took place on October 1-2, 2015 at the LIfBi in Bamberg. 

This first meeting within the second phase of the Priority Programme gave all SPP researchers the opportunity to introduce themselves, to present the current state of their SPP projects, and to engage in scientific exchange across projects and disciplines. Part of the meeting was also a NEPS data workshop. During this workshop the participants got an overview of the most recent state of the NEPS scientific use database.
For anybody who is new to the SPP and the NEPS-database a broader and introductory NEPS-data workshop was offered including a detailed overview of the NEPS data structure and its scientific use data on September, 30th.
