Guido Schwerdt, Dr., is a senior researcher at the Ifo Institute for Economic Research in Munich. He is also lecturing at the Ludwigs-Maximilians University in Munich. He received his PhD in Economics from the European University Institute in Florence und has successfully participated in the European Doctoral Program in Quantitative Economics. In the past Guido Schwerdt has been repeatedly employed as a consultant to the European Central Bank in Frankfurt. His research interests include the economics of education and labor economics.
