Cornelia Riedel is currently research assistant in the DFG funded project “Inequality in Educational Transitions During Secondary School: Family, Regional and Institutional Conditions”. She works at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. Prof. Dr. H. Ditton, Chair of Research in Education and Socialisation, LMU is supervising her dissertation.
She studied Sociology at the Otto-Friedrich-University of Bamberg, the University of Sydney and the University of Bielefeld, where she received her Master of Arts. Her main research interests are in the fields of social inequality and sociology of education.
